Atheist Brain

exploring the cognitive foundations of religious belief

About Me

At my friend's weddingMy name is Will, I have a BS in Cognitive Science from the University of Georgia.

I am an avid gamer, an atheist, and I want to live forever.

I grew up in a religious household and spent the greater part of my young-adult life as an unenthusiastic Christian. I deconverted during my senior year of college following a few particularly insightful articles on ethics, debates on YouTube, and a couple of conversations with my godless friends. I find the psychological, neurological, and philosophical foundations of knowledge and belief to be endlessly fascinating.

I am also interested in the possibilities of radical life extension via health science and technology.
